Situated in a prime location in Ultimo, the house is a stone’s throw from the CBD, Darling Harbour, Chinatown and the fish markets, and practically next door to the famous Lord Wolselely pub. The house itself is a stunning three bedroom, three story terrace with exposed brick, an open plan kitchen area, and a dining room that opens into a north facing backyard. We don’t lack for any modern convenience, between the flat-screen TV in the living room, dishwasher in the kitchen, washer and dryer in the bathroom, full-sized dining table and outdoor furniture, and high-speed Internet. There’s loads of storage space for your personal things, but moving any larger pieces of furniture into the common areas will need to be discussed. As for the room, it’s a beautiful, double-sized space with polished wooden floorboards, a balcony, air con and ceiling fan. You’ll be sharing the bathroom with myself (as the other flatmate has his own en suite), and this has a combined bathtub/shower and separate toilet. More about the household: you’ll be sharing with two easy-going, professional(ly good-looking) males aged 30 and 40, as well as two friendly burmese cats. We’re fairly social, and like to cook and hang out together on a regular basis, but the house is more than large enough that we have our own space when needed. We like to keep it quiet during the week and occasionally let our hair down over the weekend. We have a cleaner that cleans the common areas on fortnightly basis. The room can be furnished or unfurnished. There is parking on the street which you can apply for a permit for. We’re looking for someone who’s fairly social, tidy, and responsible.
