We have a room available for one person, and you will be sharing the house with a couple. Move in date from Thursday, April 9th (possibly Wednesday if urgent). We are Chloe, age 24, and Chris age 26. We are performers (singer/actor/dancer/musicians) and do a lot of sporadic casual work. We are at home during the day a lot. We are very chilled out people who like the occasional drink and catch up. We like to be around people who are friendly and not awkward when passing through the house. We usually like a lazy Sunday morning as we are performers and usually this means a show of some sort on Saturday evenings. Apart from that, we enjoy the occasional TV show, video game or having friends over for board games (maybe once a month). We mostly do our own thing in regards to food with the occasional group meal if you wish. Chloe is a vegetarian (but won't push it on you at all :P) and Chris eats meat, so we are quite flexible in regards to food. Our cleanliness, I would say, is at the upper-middle-ish end of the spectrum – we try to do our dishes after every meal and let them drain in the dish-rack, vacuum/mop every week or two. Don’t mind a few things being left out as long as it doesn’t inconvenience anyone else. We like the place to feel clean but lived in, not like a hotel! We welcome of course any musicians, performers, and are LGBT friendly. Your room is a little smaller than ours, however rent is cheaper and you will also have access to the lock up garage. We are the top floor of a house with 2 floors (lovely view out the back of the city), so we have bottom neighbours but no wall-to-wall side neighbours. Includes 2 bedrooms, lounge room, kitchen and 1 bathroom with shower/bath and toilet. We have a fridge and washing machine, and there is a clothesline in the small backyard. There is a working fireplace in the lounge. Your room is unfurnished. We have a monthly 1000GB internet plan with Iinet. 69.95 a month, split 3 ways. Water, Electricity and Gas are also split 3 ways. 2 minute walk to the 67 tram (goes straight to the city) and 5 minute walk to the 3/3a and 16 trams (also go to the city). 8-10 minute walk to Balaclava station. 5-8 minute walk to Woolworths and Coles, and 15 minute walk to Aldi. 3 minute walk to Carlisle Street, 5 minute walk to Chapel Street, 5 minute walk to St Kilda Botanic Gardens. 10 minute walk to Acland Street (lots of cake shops and live music venues, great hang-out).
